Nicole Richie for Macy's.

Hey dolls,

Nicole Richie will be releasing her new collection for Macy's on September 12th. If you're familiar with Nicole then you know she dresses very bohemian & her line is exactly that. My style isn't very boho but some of her pieces appeal to me like the floral & fishnet dress as well as the sheer navy top lined with a leather collar. I also do admire Nicole alot because she's a petite model & there seems to not be enough of those. Anyways, enjoy!

I discovered yet another inspiration! Cher Lloyd. She is the cutest & so very talented. I love her fashion taste especially in her video "I Want You Back" The UK version. I really admired her makeup too in the video, most girls can't put off the lilac lips & eyeshadow but she defiantly did. She kind of looks like Alexa Vega & JWOWW, don't you think?

According to Huffington Post, Karlie Kloss will be the new face for the upcoming collaboration Target + Neiman Marcus. I absolutely love Karlie & she's defiantly one of my favorite top supermodels. She's also a recent addition to the Victoria's Secret Angels & I love that she is! She has been the face for many campaigns such as Dior, Free People, & Juicy Couture. The collection will be released on December 1 & since it's Target it will be affordable & very fashionable. I'm quite excited to say in the least & I will be sure to be shopping from this collection.

Urban Outfitters Infested!

Hey everybody,


I came across a quite alarming topic on www.huffingtonpost.com. Supposedly Urban Outfitters on Sixth Avenue in New York City is infested with bed bugs! eek! They have only treated certain areas of the store & not even the part where people shop! They don't seem too concerned about the bugs despite all the complaints they got & haven't taken action to fully get rid of the problem. So next time you stop by Urban Outfitters make sure you check your purchases otherwise you might get unwanted pests! Also, they have the top cities with bed bugs & my city Richmond is ranked #10, oh no :(

So today has been stressful just like the past few weeks for me & I'd like to talk about one of my recent inspirations. Before I give away my inspiration I'd like to explain why the past couple weeks have been difficult for me. I have been in a 2 & 1/2 year relationship but recently my relationship went to hell. Allen the guy I was with, got into a car wreck just right after receiving his license from another accident a year or two ago. That was the start of the downfall of us but honestly a week earlier it probably started, he just changed for the worst & left me to wait. He made more mistakes & one to many so now I'm heartbroken & dying inside. Last week, I heard Lana Del Rey's music for the first time & Summertime Sadness was the song. That was the only thing that helped me at the time, nothing else could. Lana has a certain sadness to her in every one of her songs, she's absolutely beautiful & you can tell from a first look that she's a strong person. The way she portrays herself in her songs & pictures you can tell she has been hurt but hides it away. I relate to that completely, I am the strongest person & I hide everything away perfectly, it's quite a lovely gift. Unfortunately when it comes to Allen sometimes I can't hide it away & that's the only thing I can't hide. I really don't want to go on about my relationship because I don't want to feel the pain. Anyways I love Lana, she has amazing music & she has a 50's look to herself. I love fashion like that, it's classy & sophisticated but very simple. She is defiantly one of my role models & I'm so glad I discovered her music.

Color-Changing Polish!

Hey darlings, 

I was on Fashionista.com looking at their updates & getting informed about recent fashion news. I discovered something very interesting, Ruby Wing will be selling color-changing nail polish in August on ColorClub.com. The price will be set at $12 a bottle which is a great price & they have tons of options. My personal favorites are Gypsy, Mystic, Sweet Rose, & Sand Dune. This isn't a new concept but it's the first I have heard about it & I'm quite excited to buy a bottle. I'll be sure to take pictures then blog about them once I receive them. Enjoy!
